A few things...

So my dad has been wanting a hunting dog for sometime and yesterday he finally got one..or three! They are Catahoula hunting dogs...I just love to say the name...Catahoula. Cat-a-who-la! Say it! It rolls of the tongue very nicely! I am not much of a dog person, but I happen to think they are very cute. Their names have to be short and sharp...I guess easier to holler at when hunting. Dad will take them feral hog hunting with him. I am not exactly sure what their job will be but I want to keep it that way. Because I know feral hogs have very sharp tusks and dogs have died in the line of duty! I will try not to get to attached...ever seen "Where the Red Fern Grows?". If you have you know what I am talking about! Anyway enjoy the cuties! I had to sit on the ground with them to take the pics, otherwise they would run away. They were more comfortable this way...as you can see. This is Dad's favorite...he's the more aggressive one. His name is Max. He must have gotten used to me by then. Sorry for the really white leg!

Nell is is the only girl and very sweet and cuddly.

This is Gus. He didn't get much camera time because he fell asleep first. He has beautiful blue eyes. His full name is Agustus McCrae.Gus and Nell taking a nap in the sun.

On Friday we had a little birthday party for Lexi at work. Since I work in the purchasing department I always invite her to do stuff with us. Mostly eating lunch, so we had made her an honorary member of the purchasing department...and the official shirt to prove it.
I think it turned out quite cute. The back was actually my favorite. It is full of phrases pertaining to our office. The one in Spanish fits our office perfecting. It means "what's for lunch?" which is the theme in our office. It's amazing how early that question comes up. Sometimes in the 9:00 hour. Sometimes I partake of the lunch feast, but mostly not. It usually something fried and from a cafe or Mexican food and since I work in the heart of little Mexico..sometimes it's hard to resist.
My favorite is Purchasing Envy..everyone wants to be us! We have the most fun!
Everyone at our place of employment wants to be us!
