All things must come to an end...

So, the Christmas season is coming to an end. At least for me. Tara and the kids left today and the house is sad and quiet and I miss them so much. I know Tara has been wanting a girl but she produces the most adorable boys. (Hallie is cute too, but now that she is older she doesn't need me as much). Carter is just delectable and I want to eat him with a spoon. Manda and I said we were going to cut him in half and each take a half. Well I think if Amanda is able to have her own children then she has no right to take my Carter! Anyway... Jackson has grown into quite the little man, he's so confident about what he's talking about even though..sometimes I still can't understand him. He does the cutest face...his pirate face. Here are some other pictures to follow...Here are a few attempts at family pictures!

Merry Christmas from Texas!

So, here I am in Texas...with the whole family. When I say the whole family...I mean 11 people in one house for a week! It has been exciting so far. We had a game night and I have to say that seeing a pregnant woman loose all inhibition and scream when she wins is very entertaining. (By the way, we were relieved to find out she was having a girl. We didn't want her to have an emotional breakdown if it was a boy!) We were playing the card game Blink, you all should try it!

It seems all we do is eat, clean up and eat again. I feel like a polygamist family. The highlight of the vacation for the kids was the 6 seater golf cart that Jill borrowed for us. All I can say is that I hope Hallie's driving skills improve with age. She goes around the corners so fast I'm surprised she hasn't lost Carter or Jackson off the back yet.

Also for those of you who were around when Hallie went through her phase when she thought she was a cat, you will be glad to know that it skipped Carter. But not Jackson, he thinks he is a pig. It is somewhat entertaining. He calls himself little pig and snorts...but's not nearly as bad as Hallie's stage.

Sorry this is the most random blog ever, but there are children all around and it's hard to concentrate. Anyway, I hope you all had a great Christmas!

One More Thing...

Before Allison and Ben moved to California, we had one last get-together of the old roommates. These were my first roommates when I moved to Utah. There is me, Katherine, Melanie and Allison. It was so fun living with them and still being a part of their lives!

Slacker....

So, I have been reprimanded for not keeping up with my blog. I've been told by my good friend Allison that I'm not allowed to start a blog and then poop out after 3 weeks. (She manages to keep hers updated with a set of twins and a 3 year old!) She knows me well! It's something I have inheritated from my father....starting something and then before finishing, start another project. Which is what I'm doing. Except my project right now is called cleaning my room. For some reason I can have the rest of my house so clean but I can't keep my room clean. Maybe because it's not on display as much...who knows. So I continue this cycle of not finishing anything by not cleaning and writing instead. Except I don't have much to write about. Life is very unoriginal here in Logan. Except today is a Monday and sometimes my office is a little overwhelming on Mondays. Anywhere from the plumber finding a large water leak coming from under the building running to the meter and having the very expensive and very new landscape having to be ripped up... to a patient who I have never met tell me everything from her gastrointestinal issues to her accidental pregnancy with a man she wants to annul her marriage with. Just so she can go back to her husband and two children she left four years ago. Needless to say I was glad that day was over. Tomorrow should be better. I'm going to lunch with my 78 year old boyfriend. He's a retired sailor who says if he was 50 years younger that I would be in trouble. He's probably right....

Anyway, thanks to Allison I have once again found the enjoyment of writing a blog. Hopefully she will keep me in line....Until then...
